Wednesday, November 10th at 12:00 pm EST we will be hosting our next Truvelop User Community Lunch and Learn. We know that this is a bit earlier in the month than usual, but with the holidays coming up, we didn't want to add too much to your plate (we're trying to save room for the extra slice of pumpkin pie!).

Giving Thanks to Give it Your All 

When people think of November, they typically think of Thanksgiving, a time for reflection and gratitude.  We want to translate this idea to the workplace and the employee experience.  Why is it important to give thanks and how can we go about it? 

Did you know that just spending five minutes writing down what you’re thankful for can have mental, emotional, and physical effects? Practicing regular gratitude has been shown to increase perceptions of happiness and personal accomplishment, wellbeing, optimism, and sleep quality.  Practicing regular gratitude can also decrease emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and diastolic blood pressure.  This year has been stressful for everyone, but we've also seen incredible resilience and teamwork.  Sharing gratitude with oneself and one's team is a great way to create a more positive employee experience and refocus everyone for the final months of the year.  “93% of employees who reported feeling valued said that they are motivated to do their best at work.” (APA) 

In this Lunch and Learn, we will cover the benefits of practicing gratitude, how we can practice gratitude with ourselves and with our team, and how we can frame that gratitude to motivate and inspire our teams.
