In Trigger, it is currently a 1-to-1 relationship. One manager can Trigger his or her direct reports.  With Matrix Triggering you will have multiple Trigger options:

  • Multiple managers can Trigger the same employee
  • Managers who do not directly manage an employee can Trigger that employee
  • A senior manager could Trigger an employee who reports to a junior manager.
With Matrix Triggering you choose who and how you Trigger to fit the set up and demands of your organization.
